Yes, spring is here
Hello Spring…
As a contrast from the darkness of the winter we are getting ready to receive this spring 2022 with so much enthusiasm.
As a tropical girl this season excites me because it reminds me of my homeland Venezuela , its delicious fruits, mountains and landscapes. The word spring derives from the Latin “prima” which expresses “primer” and vera that means '’green’', “first green” or new beginnings.
Sandro Boticcelli masterfully portrayed Spring with the Renaissance trees. Homero made Persephone emerge from Greek mythology, the cause of the greening of the earth, and Christianity succeeded in imposing spring as the season of Christ's resurrection, beyond the fact that half the world celebrates Easter in autumn.
The greening of the land indicates the arrival of the crops and with them the livelihood of the entire high speed society.
As the initiator of new cycles, spring is also associated with the goddess Aphrodite, the goddess of love and procreation.
The human soul is synchronized with the approach of the Sun to the Earth and, together with the change that Nature itself experiences, flowers bloomed, fresh harvest, man feels reborn. You choose the level of celebration, hope and optimism will depend on the lense you choose to wear each day, giving spring a place of relevance.
“Spring” affirms bounce of first-sight , seeing with new eyes, reviewing, renewing, being reborn. With all the global transformation in the past two year I invite you to wear your favourite outfit, go outside, walk barefoot in the grass, in the sand and think about new ideas, new activities and new habits you will like to adopt in this season to make you feel alive again, this time where humanity embraced the onset of Spring as an opportunity for change, for happiness with the little we have without asking for more.
With love
